Hello,
Case: MASTERBOX TD500 MESH (coolermaster)
Mobo: X570 AORUS ELITE

Been having an odd issue on PC startups mostly when I restart it. Seems that 1 2 or sometimes all 3 forepart case fans stop spinning subsequently it boots through the BIOS though the RGB all the same works. (no rhyme or reason with which fan stops, any ane of them can make it through the boot)

the 3 front fans came stock with the case and came with a 3 fan splitter pre attached. my rear fan which is plugged into some other IO port always makes it through the boot but also stops for a second (corsair fan)

I accept since swapped the fan connections with the splitter to no avail and accept tried setting the front fans to PWM mode but they run super loud. I accept a CPU_OPT connector that is unused, should i attempt connecting to that and see if the problem wont persist or is it a BIOS setting that is making this happen. the but matter ive changed in my BIOS is activate XMP

I thought this result wouldnt persist later a BIOS update but it all the same has.

balance of PC:

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

GPU EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 ULTRA

Storage WD Black 1TB SSD

PSU Corsair RM 750x

RAM Trident Gskillz NEO 2 ten eight 3600 mhz

Cooler Corsair h100i RGB pro xt

Maybe the 3 fans on ane header are asking more than ability that the motherboard tin can give.

If y'all plug only one fan, exercise yous have the same problem?

Perchance the 3 fans on one header are asking more power that the motherboard tin give.

If yous plug only one fan, do you accept the same trouble?

cant really test that cause the fan cables on the front are not long plenty to reach the open up port on the other side of the case.

but equally for ability once they make it through the boot sequence, if they do the fans volition never stop and will run fine. interestingly, even if it goes to sleep the case fans plow back on no trouble. i retrieve that means its a BIOS matter? but i wouldnt really know

When thigns power up they typically spin everything at full power then ramp down to accomidate for temperature. Maybe the minimum speed is a picayune too low. Fans might exist honestly starting to die likewise. Worn bearings, stretched fins etc.

I approximate forth the line of @Izerous annotate, if yous boot and the fans don't come on, or some don't, if you lot do something taxing on your PC that generates rut, will they turn on so or do they take to be on at boot to work at all?

I'yard wondering if perchance in that location is a fan profile set in the BIOS that turns them off at low temp and won't turn them on unless the temp increases plenty.

I guess along the line of @Izerous comment, if yous kicking and the fans don't come on, or some don't, if you practice something taxing on your PC that generates heat, volition they turn on then or do they take to be on at boot to piece of work at all?

I'm wondering if possibly there is a fan profile set in the BIOS that turns them off at depression temp and won't plough them on unless the temp increases plenty.

if they dont make it through the kicking sequence then they will non turn on ever. ill have to plow off my reckoner and plow it back on.

Just to be clear, are we talking three pin or 4 pin fans, and how many pins on the headers? (It's a new lath and then I'one thousand bold all of the motherboard headers are 4 pin PWM).

Only to be clear, are we talking 3 pin or iv pivot fans, and how many pins on the headers? (It'south a new lath and so I'm assuming all of the motherboard headers are iv pin PWM).

they are all four pin headers but the fans themselves are only 3 pivot and the splitter is only a 3 pin
